Dr Thomas Skeath

LMNS Neonatal Medical Clinical Lead

Having lived, trained, and worked in the North East for the last 22 years, Dr. Thomas Skeath is currently a Neonatal Consultant at James Cook University Hospital. Their interests centre around workforce, governance, and training. They have served as the Trust’s Guardian of Safe Working, Foundation Tutor, Child Death Lead, and Maternity Inspector for CQC. Additionally, Dr. Thomas Skeath is the Clinical Rota Lead for the Trust, collaborating with NHSE on digital interoperability and participating in the Clinical Reference Group for the Emeritus Programme. Their focus is on shared learning, open reporting, and digital integration for effective care provision.

Dr. Skeath finds balance through a love of the outdoors, a close family, and an energetic spaniel who never stops.
