Amanda Kennett

LMNS Midwifery Clinical Lead

Amanda Kennett is one of the Clinical Leads for Midwifery in NENC LMNS. She also serves as the Associate Director for Midwifery, Gynaecology, and Neonates at North Cumbria Integrated NHS Foundation Trust. Before embarking on her midwifery career, Amanda was a registered nurse and transitioned into midwifery after the birth of her first daughter.

From the outset, she has been passionate about midwifery and cannot imagine being anything else. Amanda has worked in the South East of England, London, and Scotland, and now has the privilege of working in the beautiful county of Cumbria.

She is deeply committed to providing the best care for women and families across the North East and North Cumbria. Currently, Amanda is actively involved with the LMNS teams, focusing on personalised care, informed choice, and equality and equity.
